The agenda on Essential Change Toolkit includes four modules designed to better prepare participants to lead change.

Module 1: Recognise, Identify, and Understand Barriers to Change
Every change effort encounters unavoidable roadblocks. Fortunately, many of these challenges are predictable, and all can be tackled. In this module, you’ll learn how to anticipate the most common barriers to change, such as influential team members who discourage action, critical skill or confidence gaps, and structural or systemic hindrances to progress.

Modules 2-4: Enable Action by Removing Barriers Tools Workshop
Recognising barriers to change is only the first step; identifying a problem alone doesn’t resolve it. In these modules, you’ll practise using targeted tools to build support for your change and drive action, including: Stakeholder mapping, stakeholder engagement planning, change impact analysis, communications planning

Important to Know
This program is delivered in-person or as a virtual instructor-led course. It forms one of the six courses which can be taken individually or in blocks to become Kotter Change Certified. Completing Foundations of Change before enrolling in this course is recommended but not required.

Angelo is a business psychologist, advisor and facilitator with experience supporting clients across public sector to develop and execute strategy including the National Digital Strategy, Public Service Reform. With over 25 years global experience in L&D, his human capital development work focuses on building critical human and organisational capabilities in change, innovation and sustainability leadership. He works with executive and senior leadership teams across a range of sectors. Angelo holds an Honours Degree in Psychology, a Masters Degree in Business Administration and an MSc in Occupational Psychology. He is a Chartered Psychologist in Ireland and a Chartered Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Personnel and Development in the UK.
